WHY TO CHOOSE A CATAMARAN

RENT A CATAMARAN WITH SKIPPER

Renting a catamaran with a skipper even if you have a license can make the stay much more pleasant and carefree. As most of sailors know, boat can never be anchored without a person with certification on board. This is the biggest advantage of renting a catamaran with skipper: he will always be on board and will take care of the less pleasant tasks of the ship’s government. CREWED CATAMARANS FOR CHARTER

If you want to completely relax and forget worries, your best choice will be to rent a crewed catamaran. Crew is normally formed by a captain will be in charge of the ship’s government, disembarking the clients and recommending the best enclaves in the area; and a stewardess, responsible for the daily cleaning of the cabins and common areas and, in addition, she can prepare breakfast and lunch.

Cova Tallada – Denia

Located in the south of the city of Denia within the Natural Reserve of Cabo San Antonio at sea level, this magnificent place is very close to the area of ​​Les Rotes. It is accessible either on foot or by boat or any other aquatic means (kayak, SUP paddle, etc.) so we recommend visiting it at first light or out of high season to enjoy it in its fullness.

It is not a totally natural cave, since it was used in the 12th century as a Tosca stone quarry for different constructions, such as the church of San Bartolomé de Xàbia. Although it is a cave modified by man, we cannot deny its spectacular nature and its perfect exterior for snorkeling.

Cala Moraig y Cala Les Tiestos – Benitaxel

Sailing from the Bay of Portixol to the south and passing by Cab de la Nau, the Granadella beach or Isla del Descubridor, locations no less important, we find one of the best coves in the Alicante: Cala Moraig and its neighbor Cala les Tiestos.

It´s located under Puig Llorença mountain range and between cliffs and impressive geological formations, is this secluded cove of gravel and transparent waters. The exceptional enclave and the color of its waters recreate a paradisiacal landscape and give it a unique charm. Besides its attractiveness for the bath, next to it we can find impressive geological formations such as the Falla del Moraig and the Cova dels Arcs, a beautiful aquatic cave that is the way out  to the sea of ​​an underground river. It´s a treasure for lovers of scuba diving.

La Cala Les Tiestos is a small beach only accessible through the route of the bed of the Barranc de L’Infern of medium difficulty (it can be descended through some ropes as a rappel) and accessible by sea which makes it a lonely cove , perfect crystal clear water for disconnection.

The port of Moraira is one of the best located on the Costa Blanca, as it is sheltered by Cabo la Nao, Cabo Moraira and Peñón de Ifach. Maravillas de la Costa Blanca

Cova Tallada – Denia

Se encuentra situada al sur de la cuidad de Denia dentro de la Reserva Natural del Cabo San Antonio a nivel del mar muy cerca de la zona de Les Rotes. Es accesible tanto a pie como barco o cualquier otro medio acuático (kayak, paddle SUP, etc.) por lo que recomendamos visitarla a primera hora o fuera de temporada alta para poder disfrutar de ella en su plenitud.

No se trata de una cueva totalmente natural, ya que fue utilizada desde el S. XII como cantera de piedra Tosca empleada en diferentes construcciones, como por ejemplo, la iglesia de San Bartolomé de Xàbia. Aunque se trata de una cueva modificada por el hombre no hay que negar su espectacularidad y su perfecto exterior para practicar snorkel. Además, como última curiosidad, cuenta con una joya patrimonial, la siguiente inscripción: “PHILIPUS III HISP REX CAVERNAM HANC PENETRAVIT AN MDXCIX” (o dicho de otra manera: Felipe III visitó esta cueva en 1599).

Se encuentra entre Denia y Xàbia. Forma parte del Parque Natural del Macizo del Montgó y a sus pies se encuentra la Reserva marina del Cabo de San Antonio.

El cabo es espectacular por sus 160 m. de acantilados y su gran biodiversidad. Es perfecto para hacer snorkel o submarinismo (se requiere en ciertas zonas un permiso especial) o para disfrutar de los avistamientos de cetáceos ya que frecuentan la reserva tortugas marinas, delfines, ballenas y aves tales como el halcón peregrino, el cormorán moñudo y el águila pescadora.

La bahía del Portixol es una de las favoritas para los navegantes asiduos de la Costa Blanca. Zona de una belleza inmensa tanto por sus playas, calas y formaciones como por su interés a nivel ecológico y paisajístico. Comprende desde el Cap Prim hasta el Cap Negre los cuales protegen de los vientos a la cala principal de la Bahía, la Cala Sardinera.

La cala Barraca se encuentra enfrente de la isla de Portixol, y en ella se encuentran pequeñas antiguas casas de pescadores, lo que la hace destacar por su caracterización. También en esta cala se encuentra un restaurante, perfecto para comer y poder disfrutar de la zona de la Bahía de Portixol como se merece.

Contigua a la Cala Barraca se encuentra la virgen y rocosa cala Sardinera.

Definitivamente, esta Bahía es perfecta para recorrerla, aprovechar para hacer snorkel en ella, fotografiarla y disfrutar de la puesta de sol.

Cala Moraig y Cala Les Tiestos – Benitaxel

Navegando desde la Bahía de Portixol hacia el sur y pasando por Cab de la Nau, la playa de la Granadella o la isla del Descubridor, localizaciones no menos importantes, nos encontramos con una de las mejores calas de la Comunidad Valenciana, la Cala Moraig y su vecina Cala les Tiestos.

A los pies del Macizo del Puig Llorença, entre acantilados e impresionantes formaciones geológicas, se encuentra esta recoleta cala de grava y aguas transparentes. El excepcional enclave y el color de sus aguas recrean un paisaje paradisíaco y le brindan un encanto único. Además de su atractivo para el baño, junto a ella se encuentran impresionantes formaciones geológicas como la Falla del Moraig y la Cova dels Arcs, una bellísima cueva acuática que es la salida al mar de un río subterráneo. Un tesoro para los amantes del submarinismo.

La Cala Les Tiestos es una pequeña playa solamente accesible a través de la Ruta del cauce del Barranc de L´infern de dificultad media (se desciende a través de unas cuerdas a modo de rápel) y accesible por mar lo que la hace una cala solitaria, de agua cristalina perfecta para la desconexión.

Puerto de Moraira

 

 

El puerto de Moraira es uno de los mejores situados de la Costa Blanca ya que se encuentra al abrigo del Cabo la Nao, Cabo Moraira y del Peñón de Ifach. Además, se encuentra muy cercano al casco antiguo de la ciudad y dispone de un sinfín de restaurantes y zonas comerciales. Es bastante probable en temporada estival que no dispongan de amarres, pero gracias a su situación de abrigo podemos fondear en una pequeña ensenada conocida como el Rinconet.

Se encuentra entre la infinita playa de San Juan y la Bahía de Alicante. Isla Tabarca

La isla deTabarca es la única isla habitada de la Comunidad Valenciana. Se encuentra a once millas náuticas de Alicante y a tres millas del cabo de Santa Pola. A parte de la Isla de Tabarca hay otros pequeños islotes: La Cantera, La Galera y la Nao.

Sus costas albergaron en el pasado un refugio de piratas berberiscos. En el siglo XVIII, Carlos III ordenó fortificarla y levantar en ella un pueblo en el que alojar a varias familias de pescadores de Génova que estaban cautivos en la ciudad tunecina de Tabarka. Las murallas que rodean su núcleo urbano han sido declaradas Conjunto Histórico Artístico y Bien de Interés Cultural.

Recomendamos visitar el pequeño pueblo pesquero, las tres puertas de la antigua muralla, el puerto viejo, el antiguo faro (reformado donde ahora se alberga el laboratorio biológico que sirve de base a la Reserva Marina), la antigua casa del gobernador, el torreón de San José y, por supuesto, degustar el típico caldero tabarquino.
